I had a defacto partner for two years who, in recognition of her placing the proceeds of a property sale in my SMSF I made 40% owner of a property I purchased. She has since left and her approx $400,000 in the super has been paid out to her. Due to an administrative oversight her name was not removed from the joint directorship of the SMSF at the time.

The problem is, she now cannot be located despite best efforts over 3 years and as a result I cannot wind up the SMSF or remove her name from the property title.

What are my options?
