A past employee has filmed two staff members without consent, while they were recording a video for social media purposes.
This had occurred 30 minutes before lockdown restrictions had been lifted/eased last week in Queensland, both staff members were not wearing a mask and not social distancing.
Now the ex-employee has posted a bad review on social media and talked very badly about the business, it’s manager and owner(me).
The bio security act says that people cannot be forced to wear a mask if there is no HBCO (human biosecurity control order)
Where does the legislation stand on people filming others without consent? Is this kind of footage admissible in a court of law?
I need legal advice on what my options are?
