Hi Team,

My paid agent has filed an unfair dismissal claim against my employer as I was demoted to a lower status position and lower pay.

When he filed the complaint he only put down as the reason for the complaint that the pay was lower. Does this limit my negotiating ability at conciliation or hearing if it gets there?

Also for remedies sought he put compensation and/or reinstatement which is what I am after. 

I am close to finding another job (Starts July 1 and termination was May 14) so at best I could only go after 6 weeks lost wages? I would like an apology mainly due to how this was handled (unprofessional etc).

Is it too late to go after that at conciliation?
