I have just come out of de-facto relationship of 7 years. We built a house about 2 years ago and as a result of the split I have moved out- no third parties involved. We have split our possesions amicably but I wonder about the house. Of course it could be sold, fees paid and profit/loss split. But, what if I want to buy her ou? How is this calculated? Any legal issues about taking over the mortage? Please respond. Cheers. BB.
