Thanks for your advice, guys!
My child's GP and Psychologist has reported this matter to Department of Child Safety QLD. But they said we should contact the department of state where the father lives because they are different departments. but the other department then say the children are mainly staying with me, they are not going to do any thing.
Yes different states run differently ... but it's not good enough. I'd get the managers names of both state people you've dealt with and escalate this until someone acts. Deoending on nature of physical abuse DOCs can also report to the police, you might also ask the GP about that.
You might also look at going back to court if there are parenting orders for variation and file the affidavit with relevant materials. You will be able to subpoena records and if needs be have people testify in court, one way or another you need an answer.
I'm in Qld. We have Drs report to docs.
Docs never contacted me in relation to the issue. However after further "reports" by my ex to docs - I contacted them.
Their advice: Since had one parent looking out for them (I was taking them to gp, kids were present in community etc) that would not interfere. Especially since I was in the court process.
Their point of view is that matters would get sorted through court and appropriate visitation. Issue is, without their evidence, child is "not at harm" and subsequently not at risk.
It's a stupid chicken vs eg senario.
The end of the day - do what you can to protect your child. Build child esteem, get child couselling- whatever. Walk down the court path and how the courts see through the BS and award appropriate visitation
