I am in the process of building an extention on to my home and found a problem with supplied roof trusses that have been manufactured to the specifications supplied by my building designer, who came to my house and took measurements on room sizes, roof pitch etc.
Upon recieving the roof trusses it has become obvious that the pitch is totally different and will not match into the existing roof as i expected.
my designer has in small print on his working drawings that he accepts no responsibility for errors or omissions.
I believe that he should take responsibility as he made the measurements , and i had the trusses made to those measurements
Is he liable to rectify the trusses?
