TRAFFIC OFFENCES

TRAFFIC OFFENCES

Driving Without a License

Offences relating to not holding a valid driver’s license include offences where the driver has never held a driver’s license or it has expired or it has been suspended due to fine suspension or where the driver has been disqualified from driving for a variety of reasons other than fine suspension.

Driving without a license is a very serious offence which can result in imprisonment. It is advisable when you think that you are no longer under a Court imposed suspension that you check with the police before driving as you may have got your dates wrong and be subject to a fine and/or suspension.
