I have been at my job for only 7 weeks and therefore i am still in my probation period. I was wondering how much notice i have to give to resign if any at all

 You still ned to give the legal amount of notice which will depend on your agreement.

If not generally a week is sufficient but it may depend on your state.

id ask your employer  in writing if you can waive notice so there is no dispute as to what ntice you should give.
