Hi Guys/Gals.. My 2nd year working holiday visa is expired on the 22nd of april. On my visa it does not state 'No futher stay'. Im currently in Darwin and had planned to drive to melbourne to be at the birth of my cousins child in June and say goodbye to family as well as stoping off to sight see along the way. Now my question is can apply for a tourist visa inside Australia now or do i have to go home on the 22nd as i will be unable to obtain a tourist Visa. Im from the Uk if that helps.

Thanks all!

Call immigration and advise them what you wish to do and ask is there any visa you can obtain for further stay.

Do not overstay as this will cost you a lot of money and seriously disadvantage you if you ever wish to come back.
I am NOT a lawyer. Anything said is NOT legal advice.

Please post your legal questions in a forum rather than sending a PM. Thanks.
