I have written a character reference letter in a breach of AVO hearing with the honest and truthful belief that the person I wrote the character reference for was truly addressing his behaviour and taking full control and responsibility to get his life on track
This is after he has breached his AVO twice and was very likely charged with imprisonment . Sadly, in the short time after he signed a good behaviour bond he has violated the trust and continues to be violent towards his partner and mother of child. Is there a way for me to contact the court to retract my character reference in prelude to the inevitable breach of good behaviour bond and re-trial? |

You wrote the truth as you knew it at the time you produced the reference, nothing to stop you writing to the court to advise that you have become aware of events since writing that impact the character of the person and stating that you now believe the details given in you reference to now not be the case.
