In todays news, 10 people have been awarded $700,000 payout after being beaten, humiliated and degraded by the police.
Its an interesting read for the many others here who have posted regarding similar experiences with the police and are considering specing tort cases.

Outside court she described the police action on the day as outrageous in a civilised country.
"People have a right not to be bashed, beaten and falsely imprisoned by police," she said.
