Topic: Bitcoin and digital currency tax

I am hoping admins will open up a thread concerning Bitcoin and all other digital cryptocurrency tax laws please. Our large Australian community of investors need a specific thread concerning this area.
In case some don't know.
#Bitcoin is regulated.
#Australia has its own Digital currency exchange to buy and sell bitcoin.
#I can pay bills like Telstra, Credit Cards etc with bitcoin.
#Australia has over 15 bitcoin ATMs I can withdraw cash from.
#Bitcoin is also taxed
So just a little eye opener for those of you that know very little about bitcoin and what it is.
A little knowledge goes a long way. Cryptocurrency is what you might consider a share in a company that is producing new world technology.
Westpac....and a few other Aussie banks are rolling out fast payment platforms this year. The banks technology comes from new technology....built within the digital cryptocurrency arena....namely called The Block Chain.
Banks have adopted digital currency.
Bitcoin is real...and will influence everyones lives in due course. As you can see Banks are utilising Blockchain Technology....you probably have seen alot more public advertising for Bitcoin.
Large corporations are joining in....Microsoft, Alibaba, to name a few.
I'll leave this link here. It is an Australian ATO link for Bitcoin......if possible can we get a thread running specifically for cryptocurrency.
