Hi well basically i bought a small business and believe the owner has cooked the books I've contacted him and asked for the turnover and profit margins 6 months prior to me purchasing the business but he keeps brushing me off.
I made alot of mistakes buying the business in the first place trusting the former owner and myself rather than getting a qualified accountant or solicitor to go over everything.
I need to know if i can sue him if the turnover has been fake, and if it's worthwhile or will it be a costly drawn out affair.
Thanks apperceive any advice.
