Some advice, please.
I bought a nice second hand flute a few months ago, and have been very happy with the purchase.
Unfortunately, I learned recently that this flute had actually been stolen, so the guy I bought it from had no right to sell it to me.
I'll be handing the flute to the police, and am happy to know that it will be returned to its rightful owner, who had been burgled. I'm happy, too, that the police want to track down and charge the guy I bought the flute from.
I'm unhappy that it won't necessarily follow that I'll get my money back, and I'm not sure how to go about trying to get it back.
Does anyone reading this have any experience in such matters? If so, please offer me some suggestions and/or advice.
