It was an online payment processor that had a wallet feature (similar to paypal but with a loadable visa card). The site officially shut down in September of last year and the owner promised funds delivered by mid October 2010. Nothing was ever paid and emails were never answered. I had a substantial amount in there, in excess of $30,000. I've sent the owner countless emails and tried to contact him through other means and emailed his attorney and never recieved a response. The website itself is still active and with a promise that all account holders will be paid. My login info still works and it displays my balance when I login. Can anything be done anymore? Or did I leave it too late? I dismissed contacting an attorney in the states or lawyer here as they would most likely want a hefty % of the amount recovered (if anything) and upfront costs I'm guessing.

Have you contacted the police, this could be a fraudulent criminal matter?

Just did a quick search, this is definately a fraudulent scam. Many people have had issues and lost their money. Good luck in getting your money !

That's a nasty scam if I've ever seen one. I'd say the guy who set it up is in a brothel in Cambodia or similar right now.
Not legal advice. Personal opinion only. Seek legal advice from qualified personnel only.
